Doug Asbury is a retired United Methodist minister who has been serving Riverside Presbyterian Church in a variety of ways since 2014. Holding a B.Mus.Ed., from the College of Wooster, a M.Mus. from Northwestern University, and a M.Div. From Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, with doctoral studies in conducting (Indiana University) and theological ethics (G-ETS), Doug has participated in RPC’s music ministries, refugee resettlement, worship leadership, visitation, membership preparation, and other ministries and currently serves as the coordinator of the church’s Little Food Pantry.  In December 2025 he had the pleasure of conducting RPC's annual performance of sections of Handel's Messiah.
