Youth Groups
The RPC Youth Group has always been a program of Riverside Presbyterian
Church that is open to youth of any faith, or of no faith; however, beginning in
September of 2010, we officially merged our efforts with those of Ascension
Lutheran Church. The youth group will be meet at both RPC and Ascension,
and will participate in each church's major congregational events.   Both junior
and senior high youth groups meet on Sunday evenings
during the school year:
Junior High from 6:00 to 7:15 and Senior High from 7:30 to 8:45.

Holiday parties, outings, and games are part of our regular programming.
Youth group is a place to build friendships and support one another.
We participate in hands-on local and global mission projects. During our
annual summer mission trip we serve people in need in various locations
around the country. Bible study and discussions about issues affecting
teenagers today help us to grow in faith and understanding.

Girls' Group
RPC's Girls' Group, in existence since 2008, meets on Tuesday evenings during
the school year.  The Girls’ Group first meeting of the school year will be
Tuesday, September 6, in the Oasis Room. 5th-7th graders meet from 6:00 to
7:00 p.m., and 8th-10th graders meet from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. All members and
friends of RPC in grades 6-9 are invited to attend any or all of our sessions.  Girls
are encouraged to bring a friend. The goal of our group is to foster a healthy
sense of ourselves as God's beloved children -- through caring community,
education, skill-building and service to others.  Our group is ecumenical and faith-
based, meaning that the values we teach and live are grounded in the
compassionate, creative, inclusive love of Christ.  The program  includes games,
discussions, crafts, special guests, a cooking lesson and enjoying being together.
