“O God of rhyme and rhythm, of words and melody,
Creator, Lord and spirit who sings thru history,
Be with Your grateful people who celebrate today,
with instruments and voices,
to bring You praise always!”
Natalie Sleeth    1991
Riverside Presbyterian Church has a long
history of musical excellence.  RPC’s 3 -
manual pipe organ dates from 1904.
Handel’s Messiah is a Christmas tradition
featuring the Riverside Festival Chorus,
local soloists and orchestra.  The Chorus
has also sung Vivaldi’s Gloria, Rutter’s
Requiem, and Schubert’s Mass in G.  The
Chancel Choir meets weekly during the
school year and provides vocal musical
opportunities in styles ranging from
classical to contemporary.
Whether singing, ringing, or
playing in an instrumental
ensemble,  the Music Ministry at
RPC seeks to enlighten the spirit
and broaden the love of Christ and
our Creator through an engaging
worship experience.
Choir Schedule
Wednesdays during the school year:
Children's Singers 4:15 -  4:45
Children's Ringers 4:45 - 5:15
Bell Choir 6:30 - 7:30

Join the Music Ministry at RPC!
The Riverside Singers is a children's choir that meets each Wednesday night
from 4:15 - 4:45.  The Riverside Ringers is a beginning handchime group
that meets each Wednesday from 4:45 - 5:15.  Children who are not
members of RPC are welcome to join either group.  The ages range from 5 -
13 years.  The RPC handbell choir meets from 6:30 - 7:30 each Wednesday.
This multi-age group is also open to non-RPC members.  The group
currently has about 15 members ranging in age from 8 years to the 70s.
The RPC Chancel Choir meets each Wednesday from 7:30 - 9 pm.  The
choir picked up a few new members last year, but we're looking for more!
Many members of all choirs do not know how to read notes.  Music education
is a part of the learning experience.  The RPC Choirs offer a chance to
become more deeply involved in the worship experience, share the joys of
Christian fellowship, and serve the church and community.  For more
information, please contact Sally Sloane, Minister of Music at 447-1520 X 31
or
